SECTION 1 - PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
When you make a purchase in our shop, as part of our buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse through our shop, we also automatically receive the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, which allows us to obtain more details about the browser and operating system you are using.
Email Marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our shop, new products and other updates.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
How do I obtain my consent?
When you provide us with your personal information to complete a transaction, check your credit card, place an order, schedule a delivery or return a purchase, we assume that you consent to the collection and use of your information for that purpose only.
If we ask you to provide us with your personal information for any other reason, for example for marketing purposes, we will ask you directly for your explicit consent, or we will give you the opportunity to refuse.
How can I withdraw my consent?
If, after you have given us your consent, you change your mind and no longer consent to us contacting you, collecting your information or disclosing it, you can let us know by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
ARTICLE 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or if you violate our terms and conditions of sale and use.
ARTICLE 4 - SHOPIFY
Our shop is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell you our services and products.
Your data is stored in Shopify's data storage system and databases, as well as in the general Shopify application. Your data is stored on a secure server protected by a firewall.
If you make your purchase via a direct payment gateway, in this case Shopify will store your credit card information. This information is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Information relating to your purchase transaction is retained for as long as necessary to complete your order. Once your order is completed, the information related to the purchase transaction is deleted.
All direct payment gateways are PCI-DSS compliant, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
The PCI-DSS requirements ensure the secure processing of credit card data by our shop and its service providers.
ARTICLE 5 - SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES
In general, the third party providers we use will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us.
However, some third party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we must provide to them for your purchase transactions.
With respect to these suppliers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies carefully so that you can understand how they will treat your personal information.
Keep in mind that some suppliers may be located or have facilities in a different jurisdiction than you or us. Therefore, if you decide to proceed with a transaction that requires the services of a third party supplier, your information may be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which that supplier is located or the jurisdiction in which its facilities are located.
For example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed through a payment gateway located in the United States, your information used to complete the transaction may be disclosed under the laws of the United States, including the Patriot Act.
Marketing Text and Notifications (if applicable): By entering your telephone number at the checkout and initiating a purchase, subscribing via our subscription or keyword, you agree that we may send you SMS notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and SMS marketing offers. Marketing text messages will not exceed 5 per month. You can unsubscribe from any further text messages by clicking on the unsubscribe link. The sending of text messages or the use of automated systems requires you to transmit the telephone numbers or names of the recipients to our importer. We store and use this data to show you the analysis and results of the campaign, including the delivery status of the messages, the sending status and, in some cases, whether the purchase resulted in a sale. If you choose to use our link shortener in text messages, we will collect information about whether or not the link was clicked and use it to display the results in your analyses. Any other third party services that you may decide to use outside the scope of smsbump.com (third party link shortener, GA tracking, etc) you will be referred to their specific third party policies which you must agree to. When sending text messages, we will pass the data to our text message operator to effect delivery. The information is only shared with our operator when initiating a marketing campaign. If your recipients no longer wish to receive messages, they must reply to the message with STOP or contact us at the email address below so that we can successfully unsubscribe them.
